BACKGROUND:
Trevor & Ann Cooper with sons David & Alex have been at the pub for four years. We serve classic home cooked fayre with substance and style complimented by an ever changing selection of Cask Marque accredited real ales and a varied wine cellar.
The Plough is an attractive 16th Century thatched pub that offers drinking and dining in a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.
We are now non smoking throughout the lounge and dining areas, However, consideration is still given to our smoking clientele by the provision of a covered heated patio area.
For all round enjoyment (weather permitting) relax on our large patio or enjoy the walled garden. You'll enjoy yourself so much you may not want to leave !
Not only that – we have had marvellous reviews from The Herald and The Times
Come and visit us to witness one of the Times’s top 10 Gatrospubs in the UK.
